Our guest house in Rivonia is 27 km from OR Tambo International Airport and 8 km from Sandton. You have three ways to get here: a private transfer, the Gautrain plus a car, or an e-hailing app. Here is how they compare.

This is the simplest way, especially after a long flight. We track your flight, so your driver is there when you land, even if you are early or late. You pay one fixed price per vehicle, per way, agreed before you travel.
Meet and greet: your driver waits at the Tourism Information desk in the arrivals hall, holding a Sitatunga sign with your name, and welcomes each passenger.
Every driver holds a Professional Driving Permit (PDP), and every vehicle is air-conditioned and fitted with a dashcam. Stay 4 nights or more in a room (7 or more in the apartment) and one transfer is on us. See all transfer prices.
The Gautrain runs from OR Tambo to Sandton station. Our lodge is 8 km from Gautrain Sandton and 10 km from Gautrain Marlboro, so you still need a car for the last stretch.
The OR Tambo station opens at 05:12 and closes at 21:14, according to the Gautrain schedule. Check the Gautrain app or website for fares and train times on your day. The train works well in the daytime with a small bag. With a family, heavy luggage or a late flight, a car from door to door is easier.
E-hailing apps work at OR Tambo, and they suit one traveller with light luggage. The price changes with the time of day and demand, so it can be higher at peak times. You order the car once you have your bags, then meet it at the pickup area.

Yes. Between 20:00 and 06:00 a transfer costs R100 more per way. If you land after 20:00, let us know in advance so someone is at the lodge to welcome you.
